What is "Das Treffen"?
Das Treffen—German for “The Gathering”—is a one‑day event for people who care about driving German performance cars. Hosted by RockyBahn, the focus is on the cars themselves and the experience of using them as intended, rather than display alone. The event brings together a curated selection of Porsche, BMW M, Mercedes‑AMG, and Audi S models, along with a group driving experience designed to be enjoyed together, emphasizing flow, scenery, and engagement over speed. The day is centered on time behind the wheel, meaningful conversation, and a shared appreciation for German performance driving culture.

The Route
The drive begins at BMW of Loveland and heads through Lyons before continuing south along the Peak-to-Peak Highway. From there, the route passes through Nederland and Idaho Springs, with a midday stop for lunch in Winter Park. The afternoon leg heads north through Walden and finishes with a canyon descent into Fort Collins, concluding at Porsche of Fort Collins. A catered gathering at the end of the drive provides a relaxed way to close out the day.
What's Included?
Registration for Das Treffen is designed to be straightforward. The entry fee covers the full day, whether you’re driving solo or with a copilot. Included are breakfast with coffee, lunch during the drive, and a casual happy‑hour gathering with food at the conclusion of the event. Each entry also includes event decals, driver swag items, and radio communication to support the group drive. The goal is to keep logistics simple so participants can focus on the day and the drive.
